My little sister is small and very funny. I think she is very silly. Sometimes she pulls my hair if she wants my attention but I still like her. Anyways, she chases and tickles me and it makes me laugh. She loves to lie on me and she can do a roll on the bean bag. She is called Abi, but we call her Abi Dabby, Do.
My lovely kind and big sister Ella. She is nice and soft and gentle. I love her very much. Ella thinks the Large Family is boring but it is very nice. We got it from the Family Resource centre. It is a story with lots of elephants and the elephants come with the story book.
I have a very itchy arm. I don’t mind about it being itchy but my Mummy puts cream on it. She puts it everywhere on my arm and I don’t like that.
The Run Away Mitten

We play this game in the yard called ‘Run Away Mitten’. It’s so fun. My friend is the black mitten and my other friend is the black hat. They have to try to steal my hat and my mittens. D is the leader of the body guards. C is the leader of the black mittens. Sometimes the teachers think we are fighting, but we are just having fun. I get a shock when C creeps up on me; but she hardly ever gets the mittens.

Christmas is my favourite time of year because Santa is coming. I hope I’m a good boy. If you are not behaving yourself you will get no Christmas presents. I am hoping to get new Lego from Santa.
We decorate our house with Christmas things. We have a Christmas tree. We decorated it already. I can’t wait until Santa Claus comes.
My Granny, Grandad, and some counins come to my house at Christmas.
I hope everyone has a Happy New Year (for one and all).

Once there was a guy called Jack. He went to buy a Christmas tree and luckily he got a tall one. He tried to lift it up and that is when it all happened. Suddenly, he felt himself being sucked into the tree. It was very spiky and prickly. A pine needle even went up his nose. Time froze. There was a magical black hole in the tree. Jack was frightened as he didn’t realise what was happening.
When he stopped falling he felt dizzy from the fall. He was surrounded by darkness. But then he noticed a crack of light in the distance. He crept towards the light and it turned out to be shinning under a door. He opened the door and Jack was blinded by the light.
When his eyes adjusted to the brightness he saw a Google poster in front of him. He touches it and it is actually a touch screen. He is in the land of Google search. He can look up anything. He goes on to you tube and looks up Claus.com to see if he is on the naughty or nice list.
In the blink of an eye he was in the knee deep in snow. He felt a shiver down his spine. He didn’t know where he was at first. So he started walking. The further he walk the snow was easier to walk in.
He came to a town where little people were walking around. Straight away he knew where he was – The North Pole. At first he couldn’t believe his eyes. He asked an elf where could he find the head elf.
The elf directed Jack to a globe room. Jack did not understand why the room was shaped like a globe. He was nervous about entering it. When he opened the door he noticed that the floor was curved. He attempted to step on it but floated instead.
A kind voice came from the other side of the globe room. It turned out to be Santa. Santa explained to him that the room was shaped like a globe so that he could see all the children in the world. He just had to tap on the globe wall and a screen will pop up in the centre of the room and will show him that part of the world. He can zoom right in to see which children are being naughty or nice.
Santa brought Jack home on his sleigh and told him to mind the magic tree as it is a gateway to all knowledge. Jack told his family about his Christmas adventure but they didn’t believe him. However Jack knew the truth.

I met Santa today. I was so excited. I was very nervous and I didn’t know what to say to him. He smiled at me. I remember my aunt bringing me to see Santa in Dublin when I was a little girl.
Today I told him that I am trying very hard to get all my work done on time. Two of my little girls were very shy meeting Santa. He was very kind to them. My oldest daughter sat up on his knee and smiled a very proud smile. He gave them such lovely Art and Craft sets.
His beard was looking nice and tidy today and the fur on his coat looked very soft and cuddly.
It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

I’m five, I’m five I’m a big girl now I’m five – well nearly. I am going to be 5 on, wait a minute (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday) on Sunday. I love my auntie Essie but she can’t come on Sunday. Granny was sick first but then it was quite funny because Pappa got sick and now he is sick all day. I don’t think this will be good they can’t come. I live in house number four and I am four but I will be 5 on Sunday. My baby sister is singing the I’m five song but she is only two.

We love getting toys and we love playing with them.
We like putting up the Christmas decorations and the Christmas dinner.
We celebrate Christmas with our families. Some of us went to our Uncle’s house, other went to our grandmother’s house and some of us stayed at home.
At Christmas you can play in the Winter snow.
Some of us threw snowballs at cars last year. Some of us made snowmen.
Last year we got a phone and a keyboard.
I will write my letter to Santa today.
Here are some of the things that we would like to get this year: Lego, Kinect for the Xbox, other Xbox games.
Some of us sleep very well at Christmas, while others do not.
We all love our Christmas holiday from school.
